What We Do

Empowering small-scale farmers in Southern Europe, our company pioneers dual solutions for sustainable agriculture, contributing significantly to several United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs). Firstly, we help farmers utilize cutting-edge equipment to transform agricultural waste into biochar, aligning with SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production) and SDG 13 (Climate Action) by promoting sustainable practices and reducing greenhouse gas emissions. Secondly, through the introduction of agrovoltaics, we address SDG 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy) and SDG 15 (Life on Land) by integrating renewable energy sources and optimizing land use. Each of our projects offers measurable impacts on water retention and biodiversity preservation, ensuring a holistic approach that fosters economic resilience and environmental stewardship while achieving multiple localised SDGs.

Carbon Removals

We're dedicated to making a positive impact on the environment through carbon removal converting agricultural waste to biochar through pyrolysis. Biochar is a sustainable and natural solution derived from biomass that, when added to soil, sequesters carbon for centuries. By harnessing the power of biochar, we contribute to the fight against climate change by not only capturing carbon but also enhancing soil fertility; its ability to retain water and fertilizers; and promoting sustainable agricultural practices.


The transition to renewable energy sources, like solar power, is a key aspect of agrivoltaics. Solar power plants, unlike those that utilize coal or gas, do not produce CO2 during energy generation, thus providing an opportunity for earning carbon credits. These credits, tradable on the voluntary carbon market, yield additional revenue for farmers and project initiators. Moreover, these projects enable substantiation of the use of renewable electricity and CO2 reduction through Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs). This attests that a specific quantity of electricity has been generated from renewable sources, thereby supporting renewable energy targets and facilitating the clean energy transition.
